Girl Scouts Journey in a Weekend

Any Brownie, Junior, and Cadette that will participate in the weekend events need to purchase a ticket. Troop leaders, parents, and any other chaperones do not need to purchase tickets and are welcome to participate in the weekend activities. Adults will need to stay overnight with the Girl Scouts if they are planning on camping.

National Park Service Supervisory Historian Greg Mertz leads this daylong canoe tour of Civil War sites along the Rapidan River. It is one of our most popular trips and brings to life legendary figures, like Stonewall Jackson, George Custer and J.E.B. Stuart. We also see the remains of Native American fish weirs.
