Friends of the Rappahannock Headquarters (map)
Fredericksburg’s Watershed Property Manager, Officer Lee Sillitoe, will guide you through the city’s riverside land holdings and discuss the importance of conservation easements and riparian forest buffers. You’ll paddle past historic sites and hike through part of the easement to England Run Falls.Bring a lunch to eat at the falls and be prepare to get wet - people have been known to flip their boats near the end of this paddle. Minimum age is 14 years. Meet at Motts Run Landing.
